About Stoney Rapids Snowmobile Centre

Stoney Rapids Snowmobile Centre is locally owned and operates in the far Northern Saskatchewan community of Stony Rapids. It was established in 1985 by Scott and Kathy Hale as Stoney Rapids Snowmobile Centre snowmobile Centre selling BRP Skidoos and parts. It was expanded into a general store in 1987 that offers almost everything you need to live and work in an isolated community. It received the name “Scott's General Store"  by the local residents when it became a vital piece of the community.

Stoney Rapids Snowmobile Centre offers BRP Ski-Doo, Can-am, Evinrude E-Tec outboard motors, King Fisher and Alumarine boats for sale, rental, and service.

Scott is passionate about northern traditions and remains involved with the fur trade; buying and selling furs, moccasins, mittens and other clothing produced from local hunters and trappers. When you visit the store you will see a wide variety of native art and crafts as well as animal skins hanging on the wall. In addition to groceries and hardware goods, we provide gas, diesel, drummed fuel, propane, and aviation fuel. Scott’s provides service for a broad range of customers including tourists, fishing camps, aviation, and exploration companies. Scott's offers a wide variety of products and is able to order speciality items to meet any of your needs.
